The consumer confidence indicator in the Czech Republic fell to 107.6 in February 2026, down from 108.2 in January. This was the lowest level since October 2025. The decline reflected a slight decrease in the proportion of consumers expecting the overall economic situation in the Czech Republic to worsen over the next twelve months, as well as a small drop in the share of respondents who rated their current financial situation as worse than a year earlier. At the same time, the share of households expecting an improvement in their financial situation over the coming twelve months also decreased, while the proportion of respondents who do not plan to make major purchases in the next year remained virtually unchanged compared with the previous month.
