Producer prices in Chile experienced a 4.6% increase year-on-year as of June 2025, interrupting a four-month trend of deceleration following a 1.6% rise in May. This acceleration is primarily attributed to a 26.2% surge in utility prices, a slight decrease from May's 30.4% increase. Additionally, the mining sector played a significant role, reversing from a 3.2% decline to a 3.1% rise in prices. Conversely, inflation within the manufacturing sector decelerated to 0.5%, a drop from 1.1% in the preceding month. On a month-to-month basis, producer prices climbed 1.3%, gaining momentum from May's 0.4% increment.
