Denmark's annual inflation rate remained steady at 2.1% in November 2025, consistent with the figure recorded in the prior month. There was a noticeable deceleration in price increases for several categories: food and non-alcoholic beverages rose by 3.5%, down from 4.5% in October; housing and utilities saw an increase of 1.2%, compared to 1.5%; transport rose by 1.4%, slightly down from 1.5%; and recreation and culture grew by 1.9%, falling from 2.3%. Prices for furnishings, household equipment, and maintenance decreased by 0.1%, contrasting with a 1.2% rise previously, and clothing and footwear saw a marginal decline of 0.6%, up slightly from a decrease of 0.8%. On the other hand, there was an acceleration in price growth in other areas: restaurant and hotel services increased by 4%, up from 2.5%; alcoholic beverages and tobacco rose by 2%, compared to 1.6%; health sector prices grew by 2.4%, from 1.1%; and communication saw a significant jump to 7.6%, from 4.7%. Month-on-month, consumer prices saw a decline of 0.3%, following a 0.4% increase in the previous month. Core inflation, excluding energy and unprocessed food, remained constant at 2.3%.
