In November 2025, Moldova's annual inflation rate remained steady at 7%, unchanged from October. The rise in food prices slowed to 6.3% from the previous month's 6.8%, chiefly due to reduced price hikes in meat, meat preparations and preserves, legumes, and vegetable oil. Conversely, non-food product prices saw a faster increase, climbing to 2.68% from 2.45%, mainly because of a bounce back in fuel prices. In the service sector, inflation also gained momentum, advancing to 14.19% from October's 13.76%, largely driven by the rising costs of communal housing services and public catering. On a month-to-month basis, consumer prices rose by 0.3%, a deceleration from October's 0.6% increase.
