FX.co ★ Slovenia Tourist Arrivals Up 7.9% in January

Tourist arrivals in Slovenia increased by 7.9% year-on-year to 0.317 million in January 2025, following an 8.7% rise in December. Foreign arrivals grew by 9.5% to 218,099, while domestic arrivals were up 4.4% to 99,176. The largest numbers of foreign visitors came from Croatia (+26.3%), Hungary (+13.2%), and Italy (+2.2%).

Overnight stays climbed 10.9% to 0.870 million, driven by strong growth in Ljubljana (+16%), mountain resorts (+14%), and health spas (+14%). Foreign tourists dominated the capital’s tourism market, accounting for 93% of all overnight stays in Ljubljana in January.
