In June 2025, producer prices in Finland experienced a year-on-year decline of 1.8%, which marked a slight improvement from the previous month’s 2% decrease. This represents the third month in a row of producer price deflation, although at a reduced rate. Notably, the decline in manufacturing prices eased to -1.4% from -1.5% in May, and the drop in prices for electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply softened to -8.9% compared to -10% previously. Conversely, there was a notable increase in prices for water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation services, which rose by 4.5% compared to the previous 3.3% rise. In contrast, the decline in prices for mining and quarrying intensified, with a further fall to -6.5% from -5.1%. On a month-to-month basis, producer prices decreased by 0.1%, following a more substantial 1.3% drop in May.
