Slovenia’s annual producer inflation accelerated to 1.9% in January 2026, up from 1.1% in each of the previous two months, reaching its highest level since August 2023. The increase was mainly driven by stronger price growth in mining and quarrying (9.6% vs. 7.6% in December) and in manufacturing (2.0% vs. 1.5%). By contrast, prices for electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply continued to decline, though at a slower pace (-2.6% vs. -9.4%), while inflation in water supply eased slightly (5.0% vs. 5.4%). On a monthly basis, producer prices rose 0.4% in January, after a 0.1% increase in December.
