Thailand Imports Grow the Least in 3 Months

In June 2025, Thailand experienced a 13.1% year-over-year increase in imports, totaling USD 27.59 billion. Although this growth denotes a continued upward trend for the 13th consecutive month, it reflects a deceleration from the 18.0% rise observed in the prior month and fell short of market expectations, which were predicted at 17.75%. The recent reading represents the slowest growth since March, largely due to the impacts of comprehensive U.S. tariffs. Over the first half of the year, imports have increased by 11.6%, amounting to USD 166.91 billion.
