In June 2025, Thailand's exports surged by 15.5% compared to the previous year, totaling USD 28.65 billion. This increase comes as manufacturers expedited shipments to avoid the upcoming 36% tariff on Thai exports, which the U.S. intends to implement in August unless an agreement is achieved by August 1. This month represents the 12th consecutive period of export growth. However, the growth rate has slowed from 18.4% in May and fell short of market expectations, which anticipated an 18.7% rise.
