In July 2025, the consumer confidence indicator in the Czech Republic experienced an uptick, reaching 104.1, up from 100.7 in June. This represents the most optimistic measure since September 2021. The improvement stems from a decline in the number of consumers anticipating a deterioration in the country's economic conditions over the coming year. Furthermore, the proportion of households expecting changes in their financial situation over the upcoming year remained steady, as did the number of households who feel their current financial status is worse compared to the previous year. There was also a slight decrease in the number of respondents who plan to refrain from making significant purchases over the next twelve months, compared to the figures recorded in June.
