Producer prices in Greece rose by 12.8% year-on-year in April 2026, up from 8.3% in March. This was the highest increase since January 2023, driven by faster price growth across all major categories, especially intermediate goods (5% vs 3.8% in March), capital goods (3% vs 1.6%), durable consumer goods (1.5% vs 1.1%), non-durable consumer goods (1.8% vs 1.6%), and energy (24.9% vs 15.3%). On a monthly basis, producer prices advanced by 1.2%, a sharp deceleration from the 10% surge recorded in the previous month.
